It is true that memorizing a piece makes such a difference. For so long i was a so afraid to drop the page.. just in recent months have I put it to the test and it works ..It helps me bring my words to a boil in many ways where as before they were at a simmer… This article has been helpful tho in helping me pin down effective methods of memorizing my work .. great thanks indeed
oh and i also have tried putting my work on a digital recorder and transferring them to my computers itunes and plopping them into my ipod so i can carry them and listen to them all through the day that has helps a bit…

I’m glad you agree, Kairo. Putting your recorded pieces on an ipod and listening to them is a great suggestion. I’ll have to try it out. And what a wonderful way to look at memorization: bringing our words to a “boil.” Thanks for taking the time to comment and to offer a great suggestion!
